beans for m/s?

I just followed this link from another thread:
http://www.karenhurd.com/concern_morning_sickness.html

The gist - eat beans so that the soluble fiber bonds to excess bile. Morning sickness gone.

Can this really be true? Anyone try it? Do you have to eat the beans plain? I do eat beans every couple of days, but not all day long like the article says.

I never tried eating beans all day long, but I was practically vegan going into my first pregnancy and beans were one of many foods that I couldn't eat without puking... so I'm not sure how I could have followed that advice? A friend of mine is vegan and eats a mostly unprocessed diet and she just lost 25 pounds in her first trimester because nothing was staying down. Umm, maybe if you have mild morning sickness and not hyperemesis gravidarum?

I've been through m/s (pretty typical two times, AWFUL one time), and I can't imagine eating the same food day in, day out. I think just the repetition would start to make me feel green...
