I joined Mothering a few years ago but haven't been back in a long while. I am now the very blessed mother of a wee girl who is 10 months old. I have been journeying towards AP. The clincher was my DD nightwaking. We welcomed her into our bed as the normal place to sleep in February and since then I have embraced AP style parenting. It is wonderful to be parenting in a way that feels so natural and right. My DH and I are both interested in sustainable living. He keeps bees on his parent's property and we have a vege garden and 3 chickens at home. I am a part time highschool teacher to teen mothers. I love my life at the moment and feel totally privileged to say that. We are thinking of moving to Europe some time next year to experience life somewhere else and to travel.
