I forgot about golf too. I bought them a little three club set from Toys R Us but up until then they were using a croquet mallet and some golf balls.

Dog + tennis ball = fun
Hammock = fun
Whatever mama is doing outside (brush the dog, BBQ, garden) = fun

We also have the aforementioned bubbles, tricycle, push car, sticks and leaves, rocks, bucket, shovel etc. The two best outside toys though are the tricycle and the dog. Get a dog.

Ooo, my kids wish so badly I would follow this advice! They have to be content with the neighbor's cat for the moment.

Basketball is a massive rage at our house. Bicycles. Bubbles. Our little girl (just barely 2) is just starting to get into sidewalk chalk. We also have one of those plastic houses and both kids adore that.
