How much are FRERs where you live?

Hopefully this doesn't get moved to Finances or something, because it is really only relevant to women TTC!

I read a reference in another post to First Response Early Result tests being worth it, because they are 2 for $7 or something similar. Well, here in Philadelphia they are 2 for $12ish, sometimes more, regular retail. 3 packs are $17 - $19.

This is a lot of money, and I have bought blue dye tests that were only 3 for $9 because of it!

where are you looking at for them? That may make a difference.

here a 3 pack is 15 bucks... I dont even know if they sell a 2 pack lol I never bought one.

That said, FRER are SO worth the money you spend on them, just don't waste them. Use them to confirm a positive on a cheaper test.

They aren't worth it because they are cheap... they are worth it because unlike blue dye tests or dollar tree tests... you do not have to question a line even if it comes up during the time limit.

I think here they are about $11 for 1 and $15 for a two-pack. I agree that they are worth it but I only use them for that photo-op confirmation test after blowing through a few dozen internet cheapies.

I can expect to pay anywhere from $11-$13 for ONE, $16-$19 for two-pack.

The three pack here is 21 dollars...the two pack is like 18 or 19.
2 here go for about $14, a 3 pack for $18

I think I've seen 1 pack for $9-11 ish and 2 packs for $15-17. It depends on the store, though, and somewhere they were on sale for like $7 for one.

I could totally be remembering wrong... I rarely buy them (though I bought a 2-pack last month and am pretty sure it was more than $15).

I'll have to check walmart today b/c I have to go there anyway...

So they are high most places. Wonder where that one poster lived.

They are 2/$13.68 here. Usually the boxes have a $1 off coupon attached though.

Well, amazon sells them (free shipping when you buy $25 worth of stuff)
for $16.81 a 3 pack)

Here

BUT you can subscribe to them, get them delivered at a regular interval, and then get a 10% discount on that...

They are really flexible with the subscription too. (I didn't do it w/ frers, but with 7th generation diapers... I used mostly clothe, so ordering a 4pack every 6 months was a bit much - I just put off the shipment 'til later, and ordered them with my subscription when I wanted them... I changed sized and everything...)

ETA_ just read the small print - if you subscribe, you get free shipping no matter what!

Just bought 3 at Target for $12.49 before tax. They did have a 2 pack but this was a little cheaper per test (like $.30 different). No coupon attached, maybe it's inside?

They were $16.xx for a 3-pack at my walmart. I should have went there when I bought them last month, b/c I paid about that for a 2-pack at Albertsons. I should have took a pic with my phone 'cause now I can't recall what they were selling the digital FRER's for.

I paid $10 for a two pack at our grocery store (Meijer), but I also used a coupon I printed from http://www.firstresponse.com/, so I only paid $8.
