New finger food ideas?

Thread Starter
DS, 9 mo, started to hate the spoon last week. He won't be fed by a spoon and now won't even grab it himself to put in his mouth. No interest in porridge or anything resembling a puree. Fair enough! I am running out of ideas for good finger foods and don't want to keep feeding him the same stuff.

Any new ideas?

DD is 11 months, but has never really been into purees so it's mostly been finger foods for us! Quick ideas that she's loved include: strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe (honeydew, etc), avocado slices, Annie's graham cracker bunnies, cheese, cooked veggies like peas and carrots, thin slices (like french fry size) of toast & jam, tiny bits of grilled cheese (cut into dime size pieces)...

I also have made a pasta salad with tiny bowtie pasta noodles (which I cut in half before I give them to her) and tiny cuts of cucumber, tomato, celery and carrot, as well as some cheese. I cut everything small beforehand so I can just spoon it out for her.

My kids have liked:
frozen peas (great when teething)
dry cereal like cheerios
pinto or black beans
bits of rice or pasta
pieces of cooked veggies (carrots, green beans, corn (when a bit bigger), broccoli, cauliflower, etc.)
peeled and sliced pieces of apples, pear, grapes
me holding the banana or avocado so they can take bites (kind of slippery for them to hold)
bread with a pureed fruit/veggie spread on it
grated cheese
small pieces of shredded chicken or turkey

pretty much whatever we were having for dinner that was softer and not a real choking hazard.

watermelon wedges (with rind for easy holding)
whole strawberries (perfect size to fit in the palm)
corn on the cob
pasta (except spaghetti. we had an "incident" where dh thought she had a piece on her lip, pulled it out, and a whole piece came sliding up from her throat. i think she's traumatized)
whole pickle (i bite the end off to get her started, make it easier to gum, dry it off, less slipery)
soft soup meat
bigger beans like kidney beans
waffle strips
baked potato/sweet potato wedges (much less squishy than steamed)
asparagus stalks
brocoli/cauliflower florets
sushi rice she likes and it's easier cause it's stickier and makes little handfuls
fish
