bed rail??

i need recommendations. we have an ikea bed, with no box spring. are there rails for these beds that work? my 8mo is a squirmy sleeper. i'm worried he'll fall onto the hardwood floor.
we cannot put our mattress on the floor, because we have lots of spiders - yeah 'ew'.

Any of the bed rolls would work fine without a box spring, and apparently so will the guard in the second link.
