Colorado MWs and their way of doing things?

I am moving from Ohio (had 2 HBs here with a MW I adore) to Colorado. I am excited that DH and I have agreed to have 1 last baby a few years down the road and I will get to deliver him/ her in a state with really great HB laws. My question is should I get my records from my pervious births and put them in my filing cabinet for the future? Or would it even matter? Could whatever MW/s I use in CO just go from that present pregnancy? Did that make sense

I live in CO and I'd take the records if you can.

It depends on the MW really. I've used 3 HB MWs in CO, only one wanted my old records.

I had my first HB in Colorado and she wanted just my history that I could remember, not my records. The only records she wanted were those from the CNM I had used prior to her relating to my current pregnancy.
