My mom went and had a huge memory test/brain study done a year ago and they linked her problems with a potassium deficency and a b12 absorbtion deficency related to her being unable to properly absorb it.(she has an autuoimmune disorder that causes this) She started taking sublingual b12 and eating lots of bananas.
I can post links later...good luck!

Coconut oil has been shown to help memory!
http://www.healthyfellow.com/208/coc...imers-disease/
It's been helpful for my hubby and me, but we have been doing other things, too. Like finally treating a thyroid problem, trying to limit "bad" oils, and increasing saturated fats in general.
So, it's hard to tell what one thing makes the most difference.
