is ultrasound neccesary? - Page 2

I did not get an US with my UC, I was comfortable with the decisions but got a lot of flack from other people about it LOL I was told "you need to know if the baby is in the right position" well considering that my first two kids only had 1 US each at 20 weeks, I don't think that is a valid argument. My friend was able to feel me and tell that Panda was head down, didn't need an US for that.

have someone else mix a small amount of your morning urine w/a small amount of original crystal draino outdoors(strong chemical odor). dark brown is a girl & blue/aqua is a boy.

i'll just talk it over with my midwife...i'm sure they know better than i do. I think I'm pretty low-risk so it's probably not neccessary

With my first pregnancy (with an OB) I only had one at 19 weeks. I had been charting while TTC and was sure of my dates.

With my second (homebirth) I was also charting and was sure of my dates. We opted not to have an ultrasound unless there was a reason for one. I don't have anything against them, it just wasn't neccesary.
