Just was reading the pinworm thread - - not sure we're dealing w/ that (though I wonder if I did a while back), but I ran across someone saying how some people are more prone to mosquito bites than others. I've definitely noticed that to be true of myself, my paternal grandmother, and now DD (we're heading into the season, so we'll see if DS joins us w/ the itchy welts
). So I thought it was genetic since others in my family don't get the bites like we do.
Someone, maybe Panserbjorne? mentioned nutritional deficiencies as part of why mosquitos would bite some people more. I actually used to think they were after something "good" in my blood, lol. I'm wondering what my deficiencies might be.
Has anyone been very prone to bug bites then changed your nutrition in a specific way, then noticed less bugs being attracted to you?
