enigo- omg your son is such a chubster as a baby. love the pics!

mrs mike- what are you talking about? You look great!

sara- hehe i thought you were a redhead

My understanding re the thing with the copy/pasting is that this site is public like many many online communities. Public means anyone in the world can access it. Meaning anything you write here personal info, contact info, pics can be accessed and/or used or posted on other websites by those who are less than honorable. It doesn't mean you will be (necessarily) stalked or have identity theft happen or anything. But there are other websites which delve into online communities to use anything personal and copy/paste words or pics for their own motivations.

Holly, my cousin's daughter is also a CHD survivor and doing great as well! Actually, she and your son are about the same age! I'm so thankful that your son is doing well and I pray that he continues to be super healthy and strong

My name is Anna and I've been married for almost 4 years now. My hubby is a chiropractor and he got me into the "crunchy" lifestyle although I'm Conservative/Libertarian so I don't really fit the stereotype all too well. We have a 2-year-old little girl who is the light of our lives (conceived after m/c on 1/1/07) and we thank the Lord every day for the blessings we've been given. I am interested in everything that has to do with natural pregnancy, childbirth, and family living. I read everything I can get my hands on regarding those subjects and try to spread the word as much as I can.

I'm so glad to meet you all!

Nice to see a fellow libertarian, sometimes I think we are few and too far between. What is "crunchy"?

Oh bless you! I hope I am too! I've been doubting myself the last couple of days...that's why I haven't really been on here much. Last night as I was tying to fall asleep, I felt a <zoom> go across(horizontally) right above my hairline. and today I'm having some bubbly type feelings(think gas but not in my intestines.) My bb's aren't sore anymore. I do still get the "I have to eat right now" feeling, and then sometimes I feel yuck after I eat. I'm not sure if I'm peeing more or not. I have noticed that I'm kinda lightheaded more. I am 9DPO today and wanting to get a FRER really bad. I'm sure my will power will diminish and I will get some. I'm not so sure about the $ store tests...I'm not sure I like them.

crunchy describes many/most on mdc..it's a lifestyle including AP parenting/eating local/healthy/real foods (not processed) as much as possible...being a little more on the "hippie" side of the spectrum.

I don't "look" crunchy but I am on the inside

Hi there,

My name is April, and I live in Ontario, Canada (initials are AP, hence the name canadaap).

I've been married since June 2004, and had our DS in June 2007. We concieved him first try, and was born 3 weeks after we finished college. We get year long mat leaves here, which are great, but it was hard to go back after that. I have slowly increased my hours, and am now working 2 part time jobs, and am so ready to have another baby and another year off!

I was on babyfit when I was pg the first time, and here is a link to my page there: http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp I haven't updated that in a couple of years though.

I never planned on having children this far apart, but am ok with it. I do hope to get pg soon though!

DS just recently moved into his own bedroom, with a double bed. I wake up there with him many nights though, as he is still nursing.

My plan one day is to become a doula, I love birth and b/f'ing, and everything else baby-related!

April

My five sweeties

Short version, Dh & I have been together for 13 years, married 7. We had to seek fertility treatment to conceive #1 & #3. I had my first m/c after my second child, and my last one in November. I am happily a sahm, but I am very involved at my kid's school. My Dh owns his own company which keeps him traveling regularly. I turned 34 this month and Dh will be 50 in July. Our kids are 10, 8, 5, 3 & 18 months. When I grow up I would love to be a doula. In fact I have attended 2 births as a doula/friend. I had all 5 of my children with no medication, something I am very proud of. Two of them were 9lb 7oz! We try to live our lives as loving and positive as possible.

I thought it was more than that, I remember there was a thread saying something about people on some other site stalking the TTC forum specifically, but I don't know any details as I didn't get to read it before it was removed. I'd really like to know who and why, so maybe someone could please pm me if they know, but in the meantime I won't post any pics.

Anyways, we have been married for 5.5 years, TTC#1. I have super super long irregular cycles, so I've only ovulated twice since I stopped the pill in Oct 09. I have two part time jobs, tutoring math and science, and cash supervisor at a large drug store. I like to knit (Spinnerette - I added you on Rav), read, surf online, play cards. Hubby is a microbiologist and likes to play video games, read, exercise, and play with the dog.

I've mostly seen threads from TTC and PaP, as well as Parenting.

The main motive is to simply make fun of AP and natural living. I'm not posting any site links, but they're kinda easy to find on google... Personally, I'd just watch what you post (including photos).

It's always a good idea to watch what you post. I think it's easy to forget that anyone can see this, and it's not just my personal diary!

btw, I did read all of your posts, and looked at your pictures, and cried at the video. I'm just not good at replying to everything. But you're all hotties!

I liked babyfit. I think it would drive me nuts now though. I wasn't nearly as crunchy back then, and they are much more main stream. I actually signed up for this site back then as well, but found it too over the top (and look at me now!) so stayed over there. I didn't follow the meal ideas or exercise tips, probably why I gained 70 pounds with DS! But the communities were full of nice people!

Yeah, the year mat leave is pretty great. Our government pays us 60% of our wages for the year, and some jobs (so I've heard) will top that off. I don't know how some of you moms go back so early, I feel bad for you. I had a hard enough time going back when he turned 1. I think that is a major factor as to why almost all moms wean at age 1 in Canada, if not before then. I try to tell my younger friends (pre-kids) that I still nurse, as most of them haven't thought about it, and I just want to increase awareness that there are other options!

OK, there's my book. I should clean before DH gets back from his evening walk!
