I had forgotten about its existence and then found it again today while cleaning. It makes me so so so sad.

One of your daughters will probably love to have the chance to wear her mother's wedding dress when her turn comes around.

Awww, that's rough!

I ended up giving mine to a fashion design student friend, and told her to turn it into something(s) cool. I knew she wouldn't be able to afford fabric like that on a student's budget, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of selling it. Anyway, it felt so good to get that thing out of the house, after the first 30 minutes of grief after I drove away from it.

i would either save it for a child if it's not too painful or put that puppy up for sale or auction. i think a lot if times, we (myself included) hold onto things because of the emotion that is attached to them, but those same things make it hard for us to move into where we need to be and sometimes, they even stunt our healing process. whatever you do, try to be gentle with yourself for feeling the way that you do.
