I think a lot of us have the same problem That was why I started, and yet I spent a ton of money over the years - moreso than I would have on disposables. I don't have that problem anymore as my youngest is 3, but cute diapers are hard to resist.

The good thing is that in the end you'll be able to sell them to make some of your money back, or sell them along the way to fund new diapers to try.

yep! i've finally come to terms with the fact that we are not saving much money. i will make some of it back when i sell them, or if we end up having more kiddos (which is quite likely). diapers are always the first thing i think to buy when i have money. i try and hold back, but sometimes i just cant! right now im obsessing over getting a bunch of fuzzi bunz. its always something! we already have tons of pocket diapers and i do NOT need any more!! diapers sell pretty easily in this area on craigslist, so i end up selling things to justify buying new diapers. and i only spend my personal "weekly allowance" on diapers, so at least our family budget isnt being used on them. eheh.
