Sore Boobs=Pregnant?!

I woke up a little less than a week after I Oed and had very sore boobs. It went away and came back a few days later & it's still been going on for a few days now off and on. I have had sore boobs before, but it was only around O time or right before or during AF. This is definitely not one of those times.

I know this could be a sign of pregnancy.. I have no other symptoms though. And my boobs haven't changed at all... I know during pregnancy the brown around the nipples get bigger and the boobs itself grow, but I haven't had any of this. Also, they don't bother me all the time, it's mostly when I'm home in my pj's without a bra.

What do you think? I'm about 4 days away from expected AF,so too early to test!

if you are 4 days from AF it's probably that. preggo boobs are really sore. I have had sore boobs since the middle of last month. I just had a breast exam in March so I'm not that worried about it. TTC can make you notice things that you wouldn't normally notice. It is very easy to turn everything into a symptom. Not saying that you are doing that at all. Just speaking from experience. I'm only on my second cycle TTC and have had soooo many syptoms. Good luck mama!

The soreness started a few days ago though, too soon for me to feel AF symptoms. That's why I'm questioning it.It started practically a week after I Oed. I am aware that when TTC everything seems like a symptom, that's why I'm writing on here to see if I'm just assuming it's a pregnancy symptom again (like I've done on the past!) or if this seems like a legit symptom! :-)

randomly in october of 2008 my breasts started hurting EVERY cycle at 7dpo

the majority of the cycles between then and when I finally got pregnant we were not able to even TTC due to a deployment... but still as of 7dpo my breasts would start hurting EVERY month.

So its totally possible to be an AF sign.

One of my biggest pregnancy symptoms this cycle was actually the absence of sore breasts. They started hurting after I missed AF and got much worse than they ever were pre-AF

So yeah, not too soon to be a normal pre-AF symptom by any mean.

But yes, could be pregnancy too, the only way you will know is to get a BFP.

only 4 days till af and you havent tested yet??? around here, that's waaaay overdue...hahaha.

you definitely wouldnt see major changes like nipple color and that before you are even late for af, but it can definitely be an early preg sign. or not. you just have to test or wait to see if af shows or not.

I really do want to test,bc I feel like this isn't what my body normal does this time of the month...but I also don't want to get in the habit of testing so early every time I feel I have a symptom!

When is it not too early to test? I know the pregnancy tests say every day you get closer to AF you have a higher chance of getting a positive. I was thinking of testing the day before expecting AF.

Thats a tough question... and it depends on YOU and your body.

If you want no chance of getting a negative test and still being pregnant, wait a month after missing your AF lol... otherwise you always have some chance of that negative test being wrong...

Personally... I started testing on 9dpo this cycle and did not even get a faint positive until 13dpo... despite having symptoms as of 5dpo and very clear implantation as of 6dpo...

However, with my daughter I had a positive at 6dpo! Dark enough that we actually did several early ultrasounds to see if I was further along than was originally thought or that it was twins... neither was the case, she was just one strong HCG producer and my body just threw it right into my pee.

I personally suggest women start testing with cheapie tests at 9dpo, as you do have a chance of BFP then but it is not all that hight... and then start with the more expensive tests if you either get a BFP on a cheapie and you want to confirm it, or you hit 13/14/15dpo (all personal choice) just because by that point the chance of a false negative test is much lower (but still there! still very much possible!)

Sore boobs was the first thing I noticed when I was pregnant. In fact, I should have figured out that I was pregnant even before I took the test, but it didn't occur to me because we weren't really "trying" at that point. I pray that you get your BFP!!

Well.. let's just say last night in bed with DH he did something that I normally would like but this time I screamed, and it wasn't a good scream ... he was like WHAT? And I was like "THAT HURT!" Ha.. so... it seems I'm pretty sensitive in the boobige area, even more than I am around O or AF time! :-)

I decided I'm going to test one day before expected AF, which is about 13dpo...which is this Thurs! Wish me luck!
