Getting Urine Smell Out of Carpet

Hi all. My not-yet-potty-learned DD wet her pants one day in her room, and it got on to the carpet. I handled it as I always do (with good results) when my dog does the same thing--a mixture of water and dish detergent on a wet rag, followed by douse of enzymatic odor neutralizer. I tried this routine repeatedly for her mess. Finally, I rented a carpet shampooer. Big mistake. It only exacerbated the smell. What has worked for you?

Bac Out. Unfortunately, the local Kroger no longer carries it. I spray it on all things biologic.

I work at a senior center. Nature's Miracle usually works for us

One thing that I did was I poured peroxide over the spot then left it sit for about 10 minutes, cleaed up with green machine then poured vinegar again, let sit and vacuum.

Then repeat as necessary until smell is gone. This worked on cat!
