liquid fermented CLO smells super bad

I've had liquid CLO in the past but I prefer the capsules. I decided to order some Blue Ice fermented CLO in the liquid form recently so I could start giving it to my babies. It smells horrid though like a rotten potato. Is this how its supposed to smell? I break open the fermented CLO capsules all the time to give to my oldest son and they do not smell anything like this liquid. I got the orange flavored capsules at the same time I ordered the liquid and they are actually quite pleasant. Thoughts?

I bought cinnamin tingle FCLO Blue ice brand and ya its stinky and yucky but its the only brand we have ever bought so I thought it was supposed to be this smelly

I've been wanting to try the FCLO and read a recent discussion of folks complaining about the "new" yucky taste and smell. This was coming from people who purchase it regularly and they found the new batches to be odd.
Perhaps more people need to call and let the folks at GP know.

I just got in my first every bottle of FCLO (or CLO of any kind), and I have actually been shocked at how not-very-nasty it tastes or smells. It's the "Oslo Orange" liquid. But as I said, I don't have any experience with what it smells like besides this one bottle.

I wouldn't describe it as rotten potato... to me it just smells really fishy. So far I have had Salty Cod FCLO and Mediterranean. The salty cod has an INCREDIBLY strong fish smell and flavor, but I could get it down in a shot of OJ and not let it touch my mouth, just the back of my throat. I find the Mediterranean to be positively MILD in comparison to the salty cod. It really smells and tastes strongly of basil, such that you could eat it with a spoonful of spaghetti sauce and not really notice it at all.
