Anxiety, allergies and achiness

Thread Starter
Hi,
I was wondering if you could give me some insight.

I have been suffering from anxiety, fatigue, and achiness and weakness in my arms.

I am 39 years old and have recently developed seasonal allergies and anxiety. I never had health problems prior to our move from Washington, DC to Texas three years ago.

I have been taking Flovent, Xanax, Lopressor, Nasacourt and using a daily saline nose rinse.

I stopped taking Flovent one week ago because I read that it could cause fatigue and weak muscles.

I’ve noticed that if I don’t eat 3 full meals with protein and a few snacks with protein that I will lose all of my energy and feel like I can barely move. My arms get really weak and achy too. It is the weirdest thing. I’ll eat, take ½ of a Xanax and feel better maybe an hour later. This is so unlike me.

I've had a blood workup, my thyroid checked, and everything came back fine. But I don't feel well.

Have you heard of anything like this? I really would appreciate any feedback. I’d like to be healthy again.

Have you done any reading about Lyme disease? If not do a little searching and see if it rings any bells.

Your symptoms also make me think of mercury toxicity. Do you happen to have a lot of amalgam fillings? Or eat tons of fish?

Did you talk to your dr before going off the Flovent? If not I think you should.

Do you know what your thyroid levels were exactly? Were your results totally "normal" or were you borderline?

Whoa... holy questions batman! Hope you don't mind!

Another question ( ) : when you have the achy weak feeling in your arms does it help just to eat something or is it dependent on taking the xanax as well?

Oh geez I just thought of ANOTHER question!

How are your B vit levels? Were they checked?

OK, I know I'm going nuts here and should stop and think before clicking submit post but...

Have you lived in the same place since you moved to Texas. Is there a chance that your house/apartment has mold? Or lead? Has it gotten progressively worse since you moved there or did all these symptoms just hit you like a ton of bricks right when you first got there?

Ok, I promise no more questions. Better give you a chance to answer them!

Allergies, anxiety and achiness are all symptoms I had when my adrenals tanked.
They were caused by low cortisol levels.

Also, you may want to post your thyroid labs in the thyroid thread as it is VERY common for lab work to come back "normal" when the thyroid is flagging. Very few doctors do the proper thyroid tests to begin with. With your symptoms though, I'd look into it.
