So thankful for stockpile

Thread Starter
This month has been a rough one for us financially, my DH had his unemployment benefits drastically reduced beginning this month when he was forced to open a new claim since his old one was ending(which had 6000 still in it ) Anyway I had been anticipating this may happen and so had been stocking our household up with the things we need to keep us fed and cared for. All I have to say is what a life-saver. Some may think it's silly to have all this extra "stuff" but for us it really has made us as comfortable as we can be in this rough patch.

It is nice to know that we have these things here for when we need them.

I love feeling like I have a back-up, so glad it's helping.
I hope things smooth out soon!

Knowing our family could eat and be cared for in hard times is such a reassuring thought. I am happy for your family and hope things get better.

Yeah, I can honestly say that we could eat w/o issue for a solid 3-6 months, and likely closer to 12 w/ minimal input... might get pretty darn boring, but it could be done!!
