What are we doing now that the DDC is closing?

Are we moving to Life with a Babe? Does anyone FaceBook? Just curious. I'm going to miss this club. I don't post often, but I really rely on the knowledge/experience of you mamas!

With my other DDC, we moved to a monthly thread on LWAB (like the monthly chat here). This has worked well for us, so that's what I'd vote for.

I agree with Lauren that TWAB seems like a great option...I don't have FB and have no desire to have an account. So if you all moved there I'd likely not run into you again.

LWAB works best for me too. And I really don't want to lose touch with those who are not FB users.

I am surprised how sad I feel that this is closing so soon.

what is lwab? i am not familiar with that term. i don't like posting on facebook either. is lwab less public?

I like staying in the Mothering Community and am not so comfortable with the facebook idea even though I learned in the other thread that one can make it more private.

They way we have done it with the Feb 08 group is that someone starts a thread at the beginning of the month and posts a link to the new thread at the end of the old thread so everyone can find it. We're still going strong 2 years later!
