Tell me how this goes...

So I have a intact DS who is 3 1/2yo. I have grown up with intact siblings and am very comfortable with the process, but I don't remember this from them.

Every now and then DS will say it hurts to pee. It is very intermittent and otherwise he is fine. He does of course play rough with his poor penis and I don't think that has anything to do with it but could be wrong. (Maybe he gave it a hard yank IDK lol) Anywho he said it hurt again tonight but only when he peed and not when he just touched it. I looked at the tip and it looks normal. I know he is not retractable from watching him play with it but was wondering if when the separation process starts do they complain of pain on and off? This has been going on for about a yr, he has said something to me maybe 5 times in that yr.

Thanks everyone.

Yes pain off and on is apart of seperation process along with a possiblity of a penis growing pain. Same with hurting to pee as the foreskin detaches it can leave tears along the penis that it is detaching from which will create a urine burn because as urine which is acidy goes over the micro-tear they more proably look like a opened blister so if a tiny tear like you know when we get a paper cut and the paper cut is still not healed up so as you open oranges and the acidic juice from the orange goes along it that makes you finger sting you rinse your finger off in the water and the stinging is all gone .
