I had a cesarean in 2002. I then had a baby in March 09. It was a failed homebirth and at 42 weeks ended up with a cesarean. Do you think I have any likely hood of getting a VBAC? Is this even possible after 2 sections? will anybody even touch me? I just found out I am expecting again and really do not want to go through another cesarean, obviously if its life or death then I have no issues but i'd prefer to not go through one just because i've had one previously.

Has anybody had a vba2c?

I just had a HBA2C 16 days ago! So yes it's possible, finding a supportive provider is the hardest part I think. I went with a CPM that had lots of VBAC experience and does VBAMC often. Maybe try asking in your tribal area about vbac supportive providers and defiantly check out your local ICAN group. Good luck!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I had a homebirth VBAC after two cesareans back in 2002. So, it definitely can be done : ) I've had two more homebirth since then (one unassisted), another cesarean and will be planning another VBAC homebirth next year (hopefully).

I had an hba2c last december at 42w 5d. I had a wonderful midwife who wouldn't drop me just for going over 42 weeks (some will). It is definitely worth a try, the main thing is to find a midwife who will attend you after 42 weeks. It will be worth it!

I posted my birth story in the birth story forum I agree with the previous poster about going past 42 weeks too. I was 42 weeks 2 days when my son was born but in my state MWs can attend women up to 43 weeks.
