According to Twitter, LaughingFox is at 7cm as of this morning. She was 3 in the evening and is 7 now. Seems like her metal alloy cervix is putting up a fight to keep her in the race for the Golden Birthing Stool, but she will still LOSE shortly.

Anyone else going to try to challenge me for the Golden Birth Stool? Because you will LOSE!

Working on day three of latent labor with all kinds of active labor last night. Bloody show this morning. Now nothing. Going back to bed, then pumping this afternoon.

And she's off! Baby is out and is a GIRL!

Rachel makes me nervous, but I have noted that Sehbub is MIA and that Elecampagne has also not been back since posting that she might be getting off the island. I totally birth whispered her. Totally.

I think Sanguine_Speed is getting off the island within 48 hours of her sweep. Could be wrong, but pretty sure on that. Beyond that, I'm getting senile. Is senility a sign of impending labor? I can't remember...

Woohoo!

The island is going to be rather solitary soon.

Take a long hot bath (not too hot of course) with 3 or 4 drops of clary sage essential oil in the bath. I *swear* that makes babies come out. I did it three nights in a row then mine came out. It was my most successful scientific experiment to date. I'm not sure if the darkness, candles, and music were also important factors but they are nice touches...

But then I'd have to climb the stairs, get in the tub, and then get back out of the tub. Dear heavens.

The getting out part was hard for me. It's hard to roll to one side then stand up slowly when in deep water.

I'm never leaving. I told DH this morning I'm kind of used to being REALLY pregnant now, so I might as well just stay this way.
