Desperate, please help!

I can't take it anymore! My male cat who's neutered pees on our carpet. We just put fresh litter in their boxes. I have a baby who's on the brink of crawling and I can't worry about if the baby is near carpet that has been peed on the cat. I've tried everything! We bought feliway to get them to stop and it worked for a little bit, but then one of the cats peed somewhere and he's up to his bad habits again. I put aluminum foil on the places where he peed, so he peed in an area next to that. I can't do this anymore.

We live in a 1000 sqft condo. Is there anything else I can do. I am just so angry and mad with the cat, I can't go near him right now. I want to just kick out of the house and be done with him!

I don't know if you have the room to do this, but here's what I have done with cats who forgot their litter training. I lock them in a room, empty except for food, water and a litter box. This works best if it's the room that normally houses the litter box.

Leave him in there a week. Visit him reguarly, clean the box regularly, but don't let him out until he's peeing in the box again. In the meantime, do some extensive cleaning in the areas where he's had accidents, so he won't smell it when you finally let him out. The week's time, however, isn't just for you to do the cleaning, it's to get the cat going in the box again because he's always near it.

Just something that's worked for me.
