I never expected to be posting here again.
Just got an very unexpected BFP this morning.


EDD: 1/11/11

How long it took to you to get your BFP: we were not trying. Dh was going to get a vasectomy. I just needed a few months to adjust to the permanence of it all! This is my second cycle post baby #3.

What number child is this for you: 4!!

Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): 3 boys (6, 3.5, 1)+dh and old dog

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): baby concieved 4 days prior to ovulation. Never had one of those...I'm putting money on GIRL

Anything else you'd like to share: Doing a lot of this on my own, my hubby travels about 50-75% of the year.

This one (#3), I only had 3 periods! WOW!

Boy or girl? No idea, but somehow tend to think girl.

Birth plans? Another HBAC! Or since I already had the last one as an HBAC, this one is just a plain old homebirth, right? So, another homebirth!
Totally jazzed, because my son was over 10 lbs, came out en caul, and I am no longer even slightly concerned about size. No one can scare me with size predictions. My only real fear is having some reason to *have* to go to a hospital. (shudder)

The rest? Urban homesteader looking to go rural, relaxed eclectic secular homeschooler or unschooler depending on your yardstick, DIYer, anti-fluoridationist, nonvax, and proud to be a nerd.

Oh, and while I was open to tandem nursing and CLW while pg with #2, due to the extreme heebies and nipple pain, and low supply happening with pg now also, I will probably work to gentle weaning. DD was 2.5 when she weaned because I was pg and couldn't handle it, and now DS is 2.5, and I am once again pg and can't handle it. Another difference is he has a bunch of food allergies, so whereas I have a limited diet now, don't really want to go through pg with those same dietary limitations.

So I am probably going to be a weaner! But as gently as possible.

I got my BFP two weeks ago. EDD January 3d.
My name - Rumyana, 30 yo, NJ.
I have a 3 yo son, and a lost baby due to MC last July with EDD Jan 27. All my babies so far are for January
It took us around 4 months to get pregnant. This is usually what took us with the previous two pregnancies. We think this baby is a girl, but I don't really care as long she/he is healthy and alive. I am planning a HBAC if everything goes fine.

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): I don't care, but I think DH secretly hopes for a boy though he says he doesn't care either.
Anything else you'd like to share: 9 months ago we had a full fertility workup and found out that though my cycles were a little wonky (I would O at a different time every month) everything was fine with me. We were dealing with Male-factor. We were told that we would never conceive on our own after DH's first SA. We were sent to a fertility specialist who examined DH and put him on three months of Clomid in November. After the Clomid, DH's numbers were up from 200,000 to 5 million (the motility and morphology were nothing to write home about either). They then scheduled a varicocelectomy. The doc found 2 very large veins that needed fixing. It less than 2 months since the surgery (and the first time I've ovulated since surgery) and what do you know...I'm pregnant! My doc did put me on Clomid (50 mg days 3-7) this month to help give me a "stronger" ovulation and a more sure time. I'm so exicted!!!!!
