Hi everyone,
I'm 37 and TTC my 3rd (and last). We've been trying for the past year without luck...I don't know if that's due to my fibroid (19 cm) or my age or the fact that my 2-year-old still nurses several times a day...or maybe a combination of factors.
I had the fibroid with my first two but it keeps growing. It was 16 cm with my last pregnancy and although I was diagnosed with a complete previa, it later resolved and I ended up with a FAST natural labour (in the car!) without any complications. It didn't cause any issues with my first pregnancy.
The gyn I talked to today seemed to think it would be best to have surgery now. I am *very* hesitant as this would mean 3 months of hormones to simulate a "pseudo-menopause", then major surgery, then I'd have to wait another 3 months before trying again, and birth would have to be by C-section Basically, I'd have to waste a year of my life resolving this issue.
Or do I just keep trying & hope for the best?
Any advice?
Thanks!
Stacy
