Help! My 3 year olds naptime bedwetting saga

First, my ds self "potty trained" fully day and night at 27 months. He said "no more diapers" and he meant it. He has had a handful of accidents since then. Up until now, he turned 3 in January, and all of a sudden started having accidents at daycare during naptime. He never has them at home, not at night, or nap. I have talked to DCP and we have tried moving him to a different room for naps closer to her, making sure she goes with him into potty before nap, not giving him water too close to nap, etc. He has had an accident 50% of the time he is there (only 2 days a week, but still)! When I ask him why he says "I didn't go all the way" or "I just have accident's at ____'s house). It is hard for me to believe he is being manipulative with this, I just don't know what to do. We have tried "rewards" for not having an accident, it doesn't work consistantly. I am seriously considering switching daycare's because of this. I love our dcp, but it is hard for me to believe that it doesn't have something to do with her because it doesn't happen anywhere else, yk?

TIA for any insight.

What about just sending a pull-up for naptime?

Yeah, that would be my answer too. Lots of three year olds wear pull-ups for naps. I have two three-year-olds of my own, one of whom was daytime dry by 19 months, and they both still need a diaper to sleep. Even if he only needs them at the day care, and not at home, what's so bad about that? If he could stay dry, I would think he would. To me it's not worth making an issue out of. Three is way too young to worry about naptime dryness.

I thought about sending a pull up, I guess that I just have a hard time with the fact that he has been out of any form of diaper/pullup for a year and to go backwards and put him in one after all this time is hard for me to understand. It seems like there is something else going on. Maybe I am over thinking it though, maybe a pullup is the answer.

my son is 4 and he still has accidents at nap sometimes. Several times a month. Don't make him feel bad. At DS's school they can't wear diapers for nap at this age, but if he has an accident they just change him and that's that. Big whoop..
