Tired & Discomfort after ectopic

Thread Starter
I had an ectopic about 2.5 weeks ago. A week and a half after the first surgery I needed a 2nd surgery due to internal bleeding and had the tube removed. During my 1st surgery the doc also did a D&C and cut some adhesions from a previous c section.

Anyway, for those of you who have had something similar, how long will it take to feel normal again? I have some general achiness in my pelvic region and I am really run down and tired. I can't wait to feel normal again. I am sooo tired and just dragging and sometimes feel terrible.

I had emergency surgery due to an ectopic about 3 years ago. Although, I was up and working soon after surgery, I still had some achiness for about 6 months. I'm fine now and went on to have another child (also with only one tube working). Best wishes.

Was a lot of blood lost? Maybe you could use an iron supplement. I feel like I'm posting this everywhere these days, but what worked really well for me after some pretty heavy post-mc bleeding was nettle tea which is rich in iron as well as vit c (that you need to absorb iron). And apparently it's really good for all kinds of other things I didn't know about until I started posting about it!

I am so sorry for your loss.
