how often does/did your 7 mo old nurse?

just wondering the norm. we're still doing about every 2 hours more or less for the day. co-sleeping baby nurses a few times per night as well.

all the time. he's just about 8 months and just got interested in solids so he isn't eating much food. he nurses every 2 hrs during the day, not sure how often at night - I don't look at the clock to keep my sanity.

My first nursed every two hours at that age - plus 3-4 times during the night.

We're usually still about every 2 hours during the day and 1-2 times overnight.

But, sometimes we have such exciting days that he only wants to eat every 4 hours or so. And then? He makes up for it overnight. Oy.

wow! i can't even remember when it was every 2 hours....but my babe is on the smaller side.
i guess 4-5 times a day...breakfast, first naptime, afternoon naptime, bedtime, and during the night/early AM.

I'd say about every 3 hours during the day. .. this is quite a shift too from a couple months ago when it was every hour and a half! But he's so interested in the world now. If we go out, he'll hardly nurse at all. So I have to make sure we have some quiet time at home. His weight gain has really tapered off too, but I guess that's normal also and he's on the big side so I'm not too worried yet. He isn't eating any solids to speak of yet either.
Not sure if its b/c of the daytime distraction or just a habit, but he's nursing a lot at night lately, every 2-3 hours (ugh). Used to be just 3 times a night. . .I don't really keep track of it though. I try to just sleep/doze through the night nursings and not look at the clock. But one of these days soon, I am going to start wondering when he'll sleep without the permanent boob paci. (He won't take a plastic paci BTW.)

Anywhere from 5-10 times a day. He also eats 3 meals a day. We have had weight gain issues and he needs calories on top of nursing.

At that age DS was nursing every hour around the clock.

DS is 8mo and nurses every hour or two, though often just for a few minutes. During the night he nurses 3-4 times. Longer nursing sessions happen 2-3 times a day? Usually when he is nursing to sleep.

He eats solids 4-5 times a day too (again, usually just a little bit at a time... half a banana and a quarter of an avocado over the course of a day maybe).
