Ok, so this afternoon, I started feeling feverish - chills, aches, etc. Right now, I'm wearing a tank top, shirt, sweater, and have a blanket on my lap. My hands are freezing. It's 68 degrees in here (the normal temp). I also have a sore spot in my boob, and MAN does that hurt when my milk lets down. I assumed it was leaning toward mastitis, but I have no red mark on my breast and I just took my temperature and it's 98.6 - no fever (and no, it's not because of drinking something cold). WTH? Why am I feeling like this if I don't even have a temp??
Regardless, I took some garlic, vitamin C and some echinacea and oregon grape root, as per kellymom.com... and put in a call to my midwife, though I'm seeing her tomorrow for my 6 week visit.
Any insight?
