So I am using my Keeper for the second time. I used it once before I got pregnant last time. It goes in fine but after a while feels as if it is sliding out. Am I doing something wrong? Is it normal to be that *low and I should just cut the "tail"? Help me Keeper users!! I really like not wearing pads but am not sure I am getting this right. I also thought about trying the sponges from Jade and Pearl. Do you think those would fit better?

Hmm. My keeper felt like it was sliding out till I got used to it, BUT I am going to need to cut the tail off as it seems to irritate me after a while. I think when you are used to tampons it feels too low, but it's supposed to rest right there at the muscle and the muscle keeps it in. Hopefully that's all it is. It took me about two cycles to get used to it.

This may be too much info but does the size still apply? There is one for before a vaginal birth and one for after. I had a csection so mine still worked after the birth. Make sure to really fold it small by folding the cup in half the again in half. Insert quite far into the vagina and then let it open up and you should feel it suction to the walls of the vagina. The tail is there only as a guide to find the cup to take out. Trim the tail to fit you. At first the tail would hit the opening of my vagina so I trimmed my to about 1 inch maybe a bit less and then it felt 200% better. When removing break the suction by pressing on the cup and then pulling out gently.
BTW: Size A (written in the cup itself) is for after vag birth size b is for all others

I seem to have the exact opposite problem. Mine feels like it's way way way far up there and I can't reach the cup. I have to grab the stem and lightlyy pull down so I can break suction. I have the A for after childbirth too and it's still like that. Hmmmmmm.

Currently tandem nursing, so my keeper is sitting comfortably on the bathroom shelf, but I can definitely remember the times when I felt like it was either up too high or down too low. I cut the tail off of mine and that decreased the sensation of it sitting low. It took me 5 cycles to fully figure it out but then I LOVED it. Then I promptly got pregnant again and back on the shelf it went.

Thanks everyone. I have the A for after 5 vaginal births :LOL It does not fall out but just feels really low. I think I will cut off the stem.
