Hi all!

We have 2 daughters, 23 months and 6 months. The older daughter sleeps in a toddler bed in her room, and the baby has always slept with us so far. We have a crib for her which had been in our room (though never used except for the odd nap)...well, being a bit overly ambitious and also staging our house to put up for sale soon, I moved her crib into the room that she'll share with her sister a few months back.

I would like to start putting her to sleep in her crib and bringing her into bed with us at her first waking. I think she'd do well with it as my tossing and turning seems to be the only thing waking her up most nights lately. But I'm honestly not sure how to go about doing this! Our older daughter has only just begun really sleeping through the whole night...she still does occasionally wake up around 5:30 or 6, at which point she either squeezes into bed with us (a VERY tight fit in a queen), or goes into the back bedroom with my hubby. It's been a very long and rough road getting to this point, and frankly I'm terrified that I'll mess it up by putting the baby in the room with her. But...I do want the little one to be comfortable sleeping in her crib, and I want them both to be accustomed to (and enjoy!) sharing a room at night. Am I nuts for even considering it so soon or should I just bite the bullet and give it a try and see what happens?

Anyone else have any experience with this? Any tips or advice would be sooo appreciated!
