Do you guys remember when Connor got stitches in November? He sliced his eye LID (not brow) open and got 10 stitches. It was pretty horrible, and at the time he was getting over pneumonia secondary to H1N1, so he couldn't be sedated.
Well, he did it again...not stitches this time, possibly a broken thumb
Last night the van door closed on him, latched shut and everything. It's an automatic door, and is supposed to have a safety on it to prevent things like this. This is the second time it has closed him into the door, the first time we took it straight to the dealer to have them adjust the resistance on it. Last night I had to run over to him to open the door because it had latched shut with his hand in there. There was a deep "dent" in his thumb, and within a half hour it had swelled so much that his skin was shiny looking. I called Toyota corporate right away to report it.
He was still using it last night, so I decided to wait and see. Well this morning it's more swollen and he won't use it or let us touch it
Oh, he also woke up with a snotty nose, bad cough, and fever. So we're headed to the dr at noon.
