How do you dress you LO at night?

It's warming up and we've turned on the AC, but I'm not sure how to dress DS. We keep the house around 71 or 72 degrees at night along with a ceiling fan. I'm always cold, so I sleep with a t-shirt on and underneath 2 blankets.

DS doesn't stay underneath the blanket, so I'm not sure how to dress him. All the cute PJs have short sleeve shirts and pants/shorts. I just think he'll get cold at night.

I know we can probably turn up the thermostat, but 71/72 feels good.

How do you dress your LO? Will they sleep undercovers?

At that age, my DS wouldn't stay under a blanket either. I put on his regular pjs (we used the snug fitting, thinner fabric kind - not footy pjs) and then sweat pants and a sweat shirt over it when he went to bed. I figured that second layer was fine instead of a blanket. I got the sweats at Target, and have seen them there a number of times.

We live in a cool climate, and co-sleep with a sidecar. DS starts out in the side-car and I try to put him back there if I'm aware he's between us at night (sometimes ). Anyway, he won't keep covers on either. We do have to balance between when he's uncovered in the side-car, or snuggled in with two hot adults. He's a hot sleeper too, and gets sweaty sometimes. He usually wears thin 100% cotton PJs with long sleeves. Last summer, he was an infant, and I slept him in a diaper and short sleeve cotton T shirt and kept the AC around 70.

I do check him if I wake in the night, or before we get into bed and throw his blanket back on. He *always* kicks it off.

DD sleeps in a onsie with thin pants. The PJ shirts ride up and I like to keep her torso covered. She's very hot natured and gets a sweat puddle under her head. I think we keep it 73ish at night and I sleep in a tank and shorts with a sheet. She also sleeps right against me so we must keep each other warm.

I usually put ds to bed in a t-shirt and shorts, but usually his shorts come off and sometimes his shirt!

He wont stay under the covers at all. I sleep under 2 blankets.

Our house is warm at night though, b/c we arent using the AC at night yet, so its 78ish degrees.

DD is 25 months and cannot stay under the covers. She is usually in long-sleeve and pants cotton pjs. It is about 73 degrees at night here...but I cover her every time her brother wakes me up!

My DD won't stay under covers- if she feels them her legs go straight up and she reaches up to yank them off. I've been dressing her in thin footed pj's (her feet get chilly from the fan).

DS rarely stays under the covers and we dress in cotton pj's that have the shorts and t-shirt in the spring/summer.

DS hates blankets and other coverings. In warm weather I put him in a T-shirt and a soft pair of shorts. In the winter I put him in a heavy pair of sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt. We don't really use typical PJ's.

DD (19mths) wears a light sleeper but she still sleeps in a sleep sack as she doesn't know how to recover herself (she's in a floor bed with a comforter/duvet). When it's colder we use footie sleepers. We're not really fans of the two piece PJs - probably because we're not used to them.

but we LOVE our sleep sack and just bought a new one sized from 18-36 mths!
