ds passed unintentional nut trial

He's 10 months old. I stupidly left a bag of cashews laying on the end table and he got to them. We came in to see him surrounded by cashews, with little pieces in his mouth. At least he got them chewed up somehow and didn't choke on them.

But he didn't react to them. Would it be ok to let him have cashew butter (or just ground up fresh cashews)? Or is it still best to wait?
It would be really nice to be able to give him another food.

It's up to you whether you feel that it's safe or not, but from what I know, often a reaction doesn't happen on the first exposure. DD's first peanut exposure showed no visible reaction, but she is definitely allergic.
