Baby in hot tub?

I was curious to see if anyone knows if it would be alright if I let my 6 month old dip his feet in my Aunt's hot tub - I wasn't sure about chlorine affecting him at this age? Thanks!

I would be more concerned about the temperature than the chlorine.

I think they keep the temp at like 98 which isn't too much warmer than his bath water I don't think and isn't their body temperature close to that as well?

Oh goodness, i'd be too scared to have my son around a hot tub...or around anything bigger than his bathtub, period. But i could accept that i was being too paranoid...

Also, i never fear hot tub folliculitis for myself, but when it comes to my LO it would also be a reason to make me too paranoid to have him near one.

My sister, reading my post, thinks i'm being one of those overprotective crazy moms.

I would & have let ds in a hot tub. A personal one in particular is going to have lower chlorine levels.

as long as its a personal one not public, and the temp is not higher than bathwater....i think i'd be okay with it for dd....
