Does anyone know if McKenzie Seeds in Canada has links to Monsanto?

I looked in the resources threads and didn't see it listed under either the Monsanto linked or non-Monsanto companies listed.

They're sold EVERYwhere.

I don't know if they are or not, but I generally avoid them anyway because they seem like typical mass-produced, lower-quality, probably chemical-ridden seed.

I use some organic seed from Vesey's and from President's Choice, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Saltspring Seeds -- tons of great organics, rare varieties, and heirlooms!

Yeah, just the fact they're sold everywhere turns me off. I've used them in the past and they seem to be good seeds, but I would rather not support Monsanto if I can help it!

YAY Salt Spring Seeds! Some of their garlic seed this year is from our farm (well, okay - market garden)! I love them too. I'm not sure about McKenzie seeds, but inside sources report to me that upon doing a tour of West Coast Seeds, they saw Monsanto bags there!!! Devestated!!! I buy a lot of my seed from them, but only the organic varieties.

JOhnny's isnt Canadian, but they're from upstate NY or something and I love their seed. The organic farm I used to work on bought seed from them.

this will be my 4th year with Salt Spring Island Seeds and I have awesome results! I love the garlic it is doing so well and the 20 lettuce blend is amazing. Oh I could go on...

I live in Terrace (NW BC) and the seeds all do so well for me.
