Super-strong O pains, cm dryup, and no temp rise?

I had intermittent ovary pain from CD 11-12. Yesterday, CD 13, very strong O pains, not quite doubled over, but almost, on my right side--for several hours. But I didn't have a temp rise this morning. I started to dry up yesterday (had lotiony cm) , had a wee bit of EW on Monday. Today I have creamy cm. Oh, and btw I usually ovulate on CD 11, sometimes 12.

My temp this morning was the same as it was for 3 days before today. I'm pretty sure my thermometer battery is fine, as it is giving varied temperatures throughout the day. I did only get about 5 hours sleep last night, and it was a fairly restless night. Also, last night was colder than it has been lately.

I know I'm likely looking at an anovulatory cycle this month, but I'm wondering, could I really feel such strong O pains and then not actually release an egg? Also, I had a chemical pregnancy last month. Can that affect ovulating the following cycle?

I would give it another day, my temp sometimes rises the day after, the day after O....

That's what I'm hoping, Michelle! I'm going to make sure to get to bed much earlier tonight!

Well, I did NOT get to bed early, didn't sleep very well, but was sleeping for at least awhile when I woke up automatically at 5:50 to temp. It was up to 98.48, from 97.73 yesterday. It was COLD in our house last night, too. Also, I checked my temp a few times yesterday evening, and it was in the 99's (vaginal temping). I am never that high in the evening, so I think it started to rise yesterday, and that I O'd on Tuesday. Phew.

Do you have a chart in FF?
You still may have ovulated on the day before, I also use OPKs and CM for charting and it takes a day for my temps to catch up some cycles.
Like you can ovulate late tuesday night and not get a temp shift until thursday...

I do think I O'd the day before, because of the temps yesterday evening, and the strong pain, which I always get the day of O, not before/after. Also, truly dried up/cervix changed yesterday. My daytime temps are HIGH today--I am a serial temp-taker after O!

I didn't note CM this month, had some wet/ew, not a huge amount, fair amount on CD12. The BD on Sunday AM was at like 1:00 in the morning (meaning on Saturday night), so between that and BD'ing on CD12, we do have a chance, especially if I did O on CD13, which I feel pretty confident about. Based on previous O's, we started a little early and wore ourselves out.
