Anti-hemmorhage herbs during labour

Anyone here use an anti-hemmorhage tincture during labour? I've seen lots who have used it after delivery (and once bleeding has started). I have a history of bleeds.....with my last baby I had a bleed but took the tincture during delivery (as per my herbalist's advice). Ended up passing BIG clots a few days later (very frightening at the time). Besides that I was fine
Anyhow, with this baby I will probably do the same thing, but wasn't sure if most people wait until the bleed actually happens.

Also, I'm going with an OB this time. Sigh....wish I hadn't, but by the time I changed my mind, the midwives were all booked
I hope I don't get too much grief for using the tincture.

Anyhow, would love to hear if anyone else has done that.

Perchance was the herbal tincture Shepherd's Purse? it has a tendency to do that. Try Lady's Mantle...Most of the mw's I have worked with liked that a lot better. And it isn't used til After the birth...that might have been the problem...
Are there independent mw's who might take you?(I am guessing you are in the UK and have NHS?) You might look under Finding your Tribe...(or you might prepare for a UC...you never can tell)

Actually both those herbs were part of the formula, so you might be right.
I'll look into getting it without the Shepherds Purse.

You're right - a UC just might happen with my quick deliveries!

Thanks a bunch.
