so im sorry but i NEED dessert...besides that im hypoglycemic and losing weight like crazy! DD is 7 m/o now and the list keeps getting longer of what i cant eat...

DD is intolerant to: beef, eggs, dairy, soy, corn, fish, shellfish, nuts, wheat, gluten, and strawberries

i literally eat chicken turkey pork rice fruits and veggies all day. i have no problem sacrificing for DD but would love to be able to eat some sort of desserts.

any good recipes or yummy things i can pick up to eat? maybe not too expensive either? i loved this candy bar that was allergen free but it was $2 for one little bar...

I just made chocolate cupcakes today with frosting (ate 3 - moo). Yesterday I made sorghum pita chips, and DS dipped his in cinnamon sugar. There's So Delicious ice cream made of coconut milk (some flavors have soy in the chocolate, so read the ingredients). Rice pudding. curried fruit.

My one treat when I was on my ED was chocolate with high cocoa content. I really like Alter Eco. It is free of everything, but there is some possible x-con, but my dd never had a problem with my eating it. Or you could try Enjoy Life chocolate chips. Or make some coconut milk ice cream

Wacky cake can be made using gluten-free flour. Just google search "wacky cake". It's chocolately and moist. I would top it with corn-free powdered sugar. It's delicious.

I'm not a big fan of coconut (OK, I won't eat it at all ) but when I'm dairy & soy-free I make coconut rice pudding. Add in some cinnamon and raisins and yum!

Not sure if it's available where you live (and it's not cheap!) but there's a brand of ice-cream/sorbet called Ciao Bella. They have a flavor that I think would fit your restrictions that's blackberry/cabernet. I couldn't detect a wine flavor at all really, but the blackberry taste was intense and wonderful!! SO good!

Could you make Rice Krispie treats (not so healthy, but sometimes a treat is so good!) with good brand of puffed rice, vegan margarine (I can't remember which one is soy free) and vegan or corn syrup free marshmallows? That would be yummy!

The SO Delicious coconut milk ice cream someone else mentioned is yummy, as is rice pudding made w/coconut milk, cardamom, pistachios (can you do those?) and maybe some golden raisins.

Good luck!!

Chia seed pudding is yummy. A banana, avocado, 1-2 T cocoa, 1-2 T raw honey, and coconut milk blended makes yummy pudding or freeze for fudgesicles.

I have been off sugar so long that fruit tastes delicious to me now! Maybe just expand your fruit intake. Strawberries, grapes, pears, canteloupe - all yummy. Bosc pears are good even unripe.... I eat a piece of fruit between almost every meal now.

poached pears over coconut ice cream
apple crisp
coconut ice cream with rhubarb sauce
"safe" brownies or muffins
bananas with coconut ice cream
I believe Kathy has a coconut milk based fudge on her blog. She also has a source for pork gelatin, if that rocks your boat.
various puddings made with either coconut or rice milk, or maybe hemp milk

I found a recipe online for "Creamsicles". I have a link to it in my blog, but the recipe is:
1 cup cantaloupe
1 cup honeydew melon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup orange juice
Blend all together. You can serve it as a drink or freeze it for "popsicles".

Back when I could do it, my favourite was sliced bananas with coconut milk and chocolate sauce.

Speaking of bananas, I saute bananas in coconut oil and a little maple syrup. Eat plain (DS's favorite) or over vanilla coconut milk ice cream.

I was going to suggest sauted bananas too, but Kathy beat me to it! To add to it, though, if you have a safe source of chocolate try coconut oil sauted bananas with a sprinkling of chocolate. or cinnamon sugar. honey, also good. (suated bananas was one of my staples when I first went gluten free). similarly, saute apples and have with cinnamon sugar, or just sprinkle a good amount of brown sugar for caramel-y goodness.

I just got a couple allergen-free dessert recipe books recently:

Allergy-free desserts by Elizabeth Gordon
Cupcakes and sweet treats for everyone (by Enjoy Life who probably made the candy bar you ate)

and this one:

Babycakes (vegan, GF and mostly sugar free) by Erin McKenna
