Bronxmom, congratulations on 50!

LynnMarie, I hear ya on AF -- it can really throw off my weight. When I first started back in January, I gained 8 pounds in the run-up to the first AF! But then it all came off again. So now I just don't weigh during my AF week (which is why I skipped last week's weigh in).
About which "plan" to follow: I think that Weight Watchers might not work for me, because if I eat carbs I have terrible cravings that make weight loss soooo much more difficult. That's why low-carb is my choice -- it eliminates those cravings for the most part. I am following the
primal blueprint and it's working for me. Good luck finding your best path!
