Pasta salad recipe

Does anyone have a tried & true great pasta recipe? There are so many online, and I've never made one before.

I need to make a huge one for my son's 2nd b-day.

I'll be using gluten free pasta (we are gluten/dairy/soy/corn free) but I should be able to make sub's for whatever we can't have in it.

Thank you!

I usually use pasta, onions, pickles, cheese, hardboiled eggs, crumbled bacon, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic and paprika. But really, you can put anything you want in, I just like it this way.

My favorite is pasta, cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, feta cheese and Italian dressing. Not sure if that'd work with your allergies though.

This is my tried and true recipe...always gets rave reviews.

pasta
cherry tomoatoes - halved
cucumbers - slices quartered
salami - 1/4 in squares
provolone - 1/4 squares
broccoli - raw
green and black olives - sliced
romano cheese - shredded

Dressing:

1/2-3/4 cup extra-virgin Spanish olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
â…› cup white wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix olive oil, garlic, and oregano in a bowl with a wire whisk. Stir in vinegar, gradually beating to form an emulsion, and then season with salt and pepper. For best results, prepare 1 to 2 days in advance and refrigerate. Also, the pasta absorbs a lot of dressing so I usual dizzle a few tablespoons of EVOO into the salad before serving.
