I'm so grateful that you mamas don't get tired of helping choose seats DS is 2 and is in a diplomat and DD 6 mo is in a graco bucket that is from '06 (our neighbors spare) We are currently in an '00 Grand cherokee w/o latch (hope to have a minivan at the end of summer) I was thinking we would pass the diplomat down to DD and get DS a new seat with a little more room. I have a babiesrus and target close by. Would like to keep it around $200. Thanks!

id suggest a radian 80! should be the last carseat he needs assuming you want him to remain harnessed as long as possible!

Unfortunately, Britax hasn't kept up with the competition - their forward facing harness slot heights are now one of the LOWEST on the market, so with the big price tag they just aren't worth it anymore.

Once your DS outgrows RFacing, he may not have much time left to FFace in a Britax.

I love my evenflo triumph advance, despise my truefit premier (PITA to install/tighten when rf), and am OK with the complete air in DH's car (not that I've used it much though. I liked the looks/feel of the radian xtsl I had for a few days, but it just wouldn't fit in my car (99 accord) - if it'll fit, I think a radian would be my #1 preffered choice Also, radians are still onsale on babycatalog.com so you should be able to get diapers.com to pricematch them, and then theres usuallly 10-15% off coupons floating around, so you can get them for a pretty decent price. Best part of diapers.com though, is they have free shipping *AND* free return shipping!! Good luck!!
