Jill- CONGRATULATIONS!! How awesome for you guys! I am so impressed you did not tear! I had one intervention and it was an episiotomy... I think I should have stuck to my guns and just pushed and pushed but I forgot to try other positions! LOL. I had no epidural, pain meds, NOTHING and I just plum forgot to try other positions. After 40 minutes I wanted that baby OUT. LOL. I give you mad props for pushing a full hour!

Mae- I love the dress!!! I can't wait to see your pics for the wedding. It sounds like a perfect wedding for you two

Awesome, Jill! Congratulations! I hope that you're enjoying your bonding time with Albert.

My news: GBS results are in and I'm negative! Also, I'm not having any labor symptoms today (and don't expect labor to hit quite at any minute), so I'm crossing my fingers and going to a concert 2 & 1/2 hours away tomorrow night that I really really really want to see more badly than I can express. If anything starts to happen, we'll turn around and hustle home. If nothing happens, then I get to see Neko Case (well, really, The New Pornographers, but NEKO!) in a 250 person venue. At 37w5d.

Fingers crossed.

I might actually be able to get a sono tomorrow instead of Friday...I'll keep you posted. You should be able to hear me scream from wherever you are. No matter which kind of news I get

DH actually said something about if it didn't happen for us this time, then it would be next time. Next time!? It actually made me relax a little. I've been so worried he would want to give up if it happened again.

One of my good friends just told me today that she was 8 wks pregnant. It would be soooo awesome to get to have our babies at the same time. Please!? Come on! Can I?

Oh... I sorta haven't mentioned this before I don't think...

My tummy is the source of conclusion for a battle lol... oooh sounds epic!

DFs family has a boy curse. Boys outnumber girls to the point that it would be hard to deny this. You go to a family get-together for that side of the family, everyone's last name is the same because they were all boys born to boys. And their kids are boys, except those married in or adopted (or just recently born one tiny little girl!)

DFs work has a girl curse. Military can be VERY superstitious and it seems to hold true that men in his particular job do NOT have boys.

Well, needless to say, we ARE having a child... so one of those is about to be broken lol.

2 1/2 hours!!!!!

nope dont care at all... im just happy to be having a baby...

i do think its a boy. just a strong feeling... but ill be just as happy with a girl! (cuz then I can put her in dresses... but boy clothes can be cute too!)

Oh, now the time on your post is later than when I first looked, it seems sometimes the times change on posts, I am sure it has to do with time zones or whatever. It's interesting you feel strongly that it's a boy, I am always impressed with people who have that strong feeling and are right. With DD, I secretly wanted a girl but was thinking boy the whole time and DH was convinced (had to do with DH having a dream involving his deceased father talking to him about his son, how am I gonna second guess DH's dead father?) but when she was born and DH said, "It's a girl!" I was like "yeah, baby!!" But of course I would love her just as much if she was a he. How could I not, the kid oozes adorableness!

Oh Enigo, I'm so very, very sorry. Its just not fair that this happens again for you, there are no words and quite simply it just sucks. Sending you cyberhugs and wishing you a calm and peaceful break from MDC. (If you really need a true break, you could always go Tear's route and have your DH change your password.)

I will move you on the first page ~ and I'm thinking of you.

I was wrong. Its a girl! (or at least thats what we figure from seeing 3 lines and a visible lack of penis)

Also, I have anterior placenta and partial previa.

Congrats on the girl!

I get the issue with previa, but what's the deal with anterior placenta? Does that it mean it is towards your back?
