Fantasy Book Rec's - Page 2

There are two books that follow The Giver

The Dark Tower books by Stephen King (not at all his usual stuff, IMO he missed his calling as a fantasy writer) & the Thomas Covenant series. Maybe the Wheel of Time books if you want to get reaaaaaally involved

ETA: A Wrinkle in Time and the books that follow. Some of my all time favorites Loved them as a kid & love them even more now!

Not so much a children's series...I mean, *I* would have read it but I don't know about your kids...

The Ender's books by Orson Scott Card are really great! And I'm not usually a "sci fi" kind of girl.

I just want to note you have to be in the mood for some depressing books for Thomas Covenant. They are excellent but depressing

I LOVED the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward. Loved it!

Crunchy Mama - thanks for the Hunger Games recommendation. I just started it and it's so good!
