Possibly bothced up kefir water Question

Shortly after having an unexpected surgery for an ectopic pregnancy and not being in my right mind with pain medication, I accidentally poured my fresh sugar water solution in with my already fermented kefir water and grains. I realized what I was doing and couldn't think of a way to fix the problem except to try and let the new water ferment in with the old water and grains. Though now I am on day 3 and the water is still really sweet. Should I continue to let it ferment? There are some bubbles, but it is sweet. Should I just start over? I don't want the water to go to waste though, because it is my spring water that I pay for. Can I remove the grains and bottle up the water with some blueberries and will it get less sweet over time, or does it need to be sitting in the kefir to get less sweet?

It is fine, strain, use, drink, start another brew. I use excess water kefir in cooking. That kills the microbials but we still benefit from the minerals and vitamins.

You can let it ferment a bit longer at room temperature. But, no worries, it is healthy.
