Also adopting siblings when we can get a response to our inquiries

:. Right now we have a sweet baby boy as a foster placement but are really pursuing a group of 3 in another state.
We were told that generally it's quicker to have siblings placed but that's also gping to depend on if you are finding kids in or out of state and also what sort of transition they need. We were told that if TPR is already done and the kiddos are free & clear than they will all have the same adoption hearing. However, where we are, it's not uncommon for TPR to only be completed on part of the group so they would be finaliized at different hearings/dates.
As a previous poster stated, siblings are not always an easy route with relearning behaviors and how to be kids. It also helps if you're ok with some level of openess. If they have siblings/reletives that they are allowed to maintain contact with it will really help if you can see that through. There also could be future siblings as well that may go into to care. And, if the siblings haven't been living together than there is the adjustment of them living together as siblings but also siblings that are already in your home.
So yeah, not a BTDT yet but I talk to everyone I can find & there is a mom in my town who has adopted siblings multiple times. Hope your journey is short and sweet!
