Interest for HMN for Upper Montgomery Co (including the town of Frederick?)

Hey!

I was wanting to know if anyone living in Upper MoCo was interested in helping form a HMN group. We were thinking about having meetings in the Gaithersburg/Germantown area so that moms in Frederick could also attend. Right now, there are 2 of us (possibly 1 more) that is interested in starting this group. We would like to start with 3 leaders in order to make this manageable for all of us....

I'd be interested, but I can't be a leader. I just found out I am pregnant and was so sick with my last pregnancy, I don't want to commit to anything just yet

Honestly, I understand some may not be able to commit to being a leader, but if you are willing to help make some phone calls or scope some places out, that would be helpful too

Yes, there has been progress! There are 3 of us that are going through the process of becoming leaders. We are trying to shoot for having a Open House early next year. I may not be able to make it, since I am due during the holidays (hopefully I will though!).

Right now, we are trying to figure out a place to meet around Germantown (so if anyone has any ideas, PLEASE let me know!). I was thinking the library, but they have changed their hours and it may not work out as well as I hoped. If anyone is willing to make some calls to some different places, PM me and I can tell you what we are looking for

I am excited and can't wait to have our Open House!
