Yeah, me too. I liked being smaller because I did feel better, but I've been up near and over this weight for so long that I've forgotten what smaller feels like.
I actually lost enough since October that I put on a shirt that was way too tight a couple years ago, and it nearly fits well now. That was a weird feeling!

You know, that's weird. That happens to me, too. Especially around sugar/carby things. I can eat somewhat normally, including sugar every day, and maintain. If I cut out sugar altogether, I lose, but then if I add back in even a small amount, I gain exponentially. Or then I pay attention to what I'm eating, and I gain. Wonder what's up with that?
I've been eating worse in the "immediate lately", but in the "general lately" I have been paying more attention to eating balanced. I have been getting off track and really have to get back to that.

goodness nausea is so bad today. and i am so weepy. i hate that.

we decided to fly back to AZ and have the van and car shipped. i am worried about the cat, i am not sure how we are going to get her on a plane. there is so much to do, it seems so overwhelming especially when some days i am completely useless.

i feel like the nausea is getting worse and worse every couple of weeks. also i am getting a lovely "mask of pregnancy" right over my upper lip so it looks like i have a skin 'stashe. i am not a makeup wearer, but i need it now. UGH! AND i keep having dreams i am having twins!
ok done with the complaining.

i should eat something. i might make a key lime pie too, since i have a bag of key limes (not sure why)

my now 8 year old use to call corndogs "brown things on a stick" lol we still call them that. lol

OMG...I also have a key lime pie chilling in the fridge right now!

My nausea has just about disappeared. I think once the stress went away, so did the sickness. I am getting dizzy now and I'm finding that I'm nibbling on mini pretzels in the middle of the night.

Try to keep the stress down hon. Though I know that's harder than it sounds *hugs* hon.

Hello!

I'm ok, thanks for asking FR, just life got really busy.

Covering for a friend on vacation where I volunteer and lots of stuff needs attention there. If I put time into it now, it will save me time and stress later, so I'm doing that. Did a moon ritual yesterday to attract what we need and felt that I got some energy to deal with communication problems more effectively than usual out of it. Maybe I'll do a thank-you ritual tonight.

Also, family who are downsizing gave us great-grandma's old dining set out of the blue. We don't have a dining room. We needed a new kitchen table badly, so the table will go in our kitchen. Lovely to sit at a grown-up table instead of cramped around a kids preschool-sized table. My back is happier already. I am not sure the chairs will serve, so rickety, but they'll have to, for a while, anyway. I need to manifest some chair glue, there is no way around that one.

There is also a hutch and buffet that are beautiful but way outsized for our house. This set is going in my living room. and I think I will put my grandmas' china teacups in it - and that's the end of my "china". Maybe I'll put in all my tea herbs and candles boxes of crystals and this 'n that and make it a cupboard of magic. Hope I can toddler proof it successfully -- this is a BIG concern. Eventually we really are just going to have to move because I need a bigger kitchen now

Logistical and financial concerns aside, I tm'd a "kitchen fit for witchin'" and feel like this is the start of it.

Reading and grateful to hear how everyone is doing, sending vibes for the fulfillment of everyone's needs, wishing for naptime breaks to allow me to respond more fully.

Cupboard of magic, I love it Yay for free furniture, and especially with ancestor meaning attached! Toddlerproofing...as in keeping them out? They make amazing babyproofing stuff, now that mine's too old for it all Well, to be fair, they made some cool stuff back then. Have you checked out One Step Ahead's website in the safety department? They have the awesomest stuff!

Was up much of the night feeling sick. I even had a dream I was barfing. I know it's not ideal but I may end up having to take immodium if I go to the grocery store (I'd take just a half of it.)

The planner creation is harder and takes longer than expected. I might quit and buy a religious planner in English for now. (and do an extensive use of blank stickers over the religious quotes )

Yoga class have been cancelled for tonight but the teacher invites us to join the Saturday class at 9AM. Nice way to start the day and ground myself for a day of errands! We're going to choose colors for DD2's bedroom, buy her sandals and we need to look for clothes for everyone ...

aubergine~been thinking about you! good to "see" you before i'm gone! yay for your new treasures! such fun. i'm having a bit of a freak out over the fact we have no furniture... maybe that's why i was drawn to the house with so many built ins!

i lol'ed at "need a bigger kitchen." we were talking the other day over dinner about needing a really big kitchen and a place to sleep, and that's really all (add garden, of course!). have you seen "julie and julia"? re-watched it the other day, and there's a scene in a kitchen where the table is IN the middle of the kitchen. i think i'd love that. it's worth watching just for the scenes of julia shopping in paris for kitchen stuff. ohhhh, to be able to crawl into that shop.....

mamaofthree~azmira makes a great pet remedy that would help kitty on the plane. i hear you on moving stress. a friend reminded me not that long ago that moving was one of the most stressful things we go through. i dont know why we always try to imagine otherwise.... hang in there!

speaking of packing..... (and, clay, by this point, we've so little stuff, and we're leaving even more behind, because i cant stand moving some things yet one more time ... the boxes are all precious books. beloved books. they're very well organized and mine have all become categorical at this point.... medieval historical fiction in one box, my thesis books in another, etc.... crazy tidy. well, nothing else in my life is, right? so at least my boxes of books have got it together. )

Our addition is shaped oddly since it's a shed roof... so the wall between the "old" and the "new" space is roughly 14 feet high and 20 feet long. It's going to be floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall, built in bookcases (well, there will be the door, but other than that, all books)! We're even going to make one of those "library ladders" on a track. I can't wait. I think it will be just about the coolest thing ever.

Sheep- we'll probably pass on the offer since I really don't have the time/energy right now to take care of sheep... I'd only be "in it" for the fiber and I just don't use enough raw wool right now to justify the cost of feed. Not to mention the up front costs of building a barn and fencing things in... and cutting down 20-30 trees to make enough of a clearing to grow parture for them! Our plan had been to get goats (there is a "goat in the wood" program at Cornell) since we wouldn't need to clear as much forest. So if we're here longer we may move on that. But oh, the sheep are tempting! I'd prefer lambs anyway...

Corn Dogs- yes please! I'll make them on our camping trip. Yum!

Abundance- wish us abundance vibes... DH and I are going to be having a "budget blow by blow" session this weekend. Basically a "put the kids to bed and then squeeze every penny till it squeeks and then squeeze a little more" sit down. We do this every year, but this time I really need to find some abundance hidden in the mix.

Got a wild hair and felt like picnic food for Monday...so made potato salad today, and am getting ready to make coleslaw, and I have sour cream for dip, and rippled chips, and corn on the cob, and scored grass-fed organic burgers and the poor store for $2.99 for 4 burgers...Yum! Picnic!
