Hello all....doing my total random pop in and say hi

Busy week-end!

Started with a kick-ass yoga class and amazing vibe rising news about a collaboration between Spiritual Leaders/Lightworkers from the East (Shin Shiva) and the West (Drunvalo Melchizedek). Made me go all day long!

During meditation, I hold a space of Peace, Love, Joy and Health for all my Pagan friends.

Look like I'll attend two rituals this summer! I'm very excited!!! They won't be done in any religious name but the spirit and the form are truly pagan friendly. Full Moon, drums, chants, Earth Healing rituals from India, potluck... Woohoo!!!

Ended up (so far) having a lovely day. Picked dh up from the auto mechanics around 9.. had anice coffee and hung out int he yard with the kids (bit chilly!) then took the kids to the awesomest park around, complete with an area of 'roads' (with stop signs etc) for scooter & bike riding. Big fun! It's brisk here today.. was only 21C (which is a laughable 70F LMAO) but .. well I got nothing, Queenslanders are wimps

Off to have some delish asian chicken & corn soup and toasty bread rolls I think tomorrow is a chili & cornbread kinda day here

Cari- Happy Birthday!! Glad the van got fixed and you had a nice day!

Maia- thinking of M and thinking of you on this sunny morning.

mamaofthree- been in your position before and it is tough, so sending some easy going, hope everything goes well vibes!

Wedding- My sister was married on Saturday. It was a beautiful ceremony and a very fun reception! During the ceremony, the pastor asked us to cheer as loud as we could for the couple so that in tough times, they can think back to their wedding day and remember that we are all there cheering for them. I really liked that part of the service. Her hubby is a good guy and I am thrilled to finally have a brother in law!

Does this mean Roo's school year is over, DoK? Happy summer holiday from school for both Roo and mama, if so!

Have to think about some new summer dresses for myself now, V. Enjoy yours. They sound perfect. What colors?

Happy packing, aweyn! Love the camp ideas. I think fall is a great time for kitchen witch intensive. I'd love to learn more about urban witching. One of the Coyle podcasts is a fun interview with a musician who just did an album of fairy music (ie she channeled fairies while recording the music) and is working on an Urban Fairy Survival Guide....here it is, episode 23.

Whew on the asking for help and getting it, mamaof3

I am not on my own computer, can't stay on long. Today, I'm learning about (not totally wonderful) changes in the lives of those around me that may move things on my TM sooner than I expected.

On the plus side, I went out with an old friend yesterday for a fun afternoon and my tomato plants have survived our cold snap and 2 days of snow - so far. One more night to go. Dreaming of warmer weather.

Dh is away this weekend. We had a family fun night on Friday at ds's school, and I didn't feel like going, but dragged myself and the kids there late. Felt hands over my eyes - dh had made a 3 hr drive to surprise us! Unfortunately, we were late and he had to sit there for an hour waiting

Someone I grew up with has a 5 yr old ds, who was just dx'd with a stage 4 cancer with a sobering prognosis and survival rate - they didn't even know he had cancer and this is quite a shock. Thoughts of support for him and his family would be appreciated.

Ye gods, aubergine, how awful!

Mamas i am not on my own puter, my own got some sort of awful, virulent virus and i dunno how or when it will be fixed. i'll have to keep up wtih y'all at the library

so while talking to my mom she said she wants us to stay with them (we will be "homeless" for about a week once we get there. lol) why does she do this? they are in the middle of remodeling their house, they don't have enough sleep space, my mom can't stand that my kids run and play, they got rid of all the toys we left at their house, they refuse to put a fence around the pool so my kids can't play in the back yard without someone going out there with them. i know my mom loves the idea of my kids, but the reality is so much different. so now after asking them for a bunch of money i have to find a nice way of saying we can't spend a whole week with you. i am thinking we could all stand a weekend (maybe) but then we could spend the rest of the time with dh's mom, she is so so much more laid back and easy going with the kids running about.

Today was a fun hot day. We went out to the park and dh got to practice a bit of gentle parenting. It took him awhile, but he got it. We go to this one park in a neighborhood that we "used" to dream about being in, but now we WILL be in it (thinking positive). The kids played, then we cooled down with a walk around looking at the beautiful homes. The people are so friendly and diverse it was wonderful.

We then taught the kids how to cross the street. I went to one side and dh stayed on the other. We had them look left to right and then cross to me one by one. Did that several times that when it was time to go back to the park, they actually waited at the last corner, looked back and forth, and then holding hands, crossed the street. Of course we watched this but the proud smiles on their faces were enough to bring tears to our eyes.

They played a bit more in the park, the we went to McDonald's, and finally got home. Now we're relaxing in our a/c apartment, staring at houses on the market in that area (there are TONS). We WILL get a house there.

Just popping in to say that the air is full of hazy smoke here.

I can't imagine what the air is like in/around Quebec.

Thanks!

I am pretty good...went to the doctor earlier this month and found out I have adrenal fatigue. I am actually really glad to hear that because for years I thought something was wrong but was partially convinced it was all in my head or I was just being lazy. Just getting an answer has made me feel a lot better...and I started some supps as well. Then again, I usually am pretty energized this time of year.

How do they test for that? Someone mentioned that I may have it but I never got the chance to ask more.
