Thanks everyone! I'm feeling quite well physically but I've been having some hormone crashes (fun stuff). I have to keep reminding myself to rest... so I needed all your good advice

I cried for a week after, every day, from 4-5 It was nuts!

I hope you are holding your baby tight and letting his newborness help your heart.

Congrats Mama! Welcome to the world baby boy!!!
Sounds like it was a very long, rough, and exhausting labor and birth Mama, but you did it! You should be so proud of yourself and of your new baby boy. Be gentle with yourself and just spend as much time as you can resting, rejoicing and nursing. Birth is never predictable, we work with what we are given and I think you did awesome!

What a triumphant feeling to come through a birth like that and be on the other side now, with your baby safely in your arms. I hope you both enjoy deep rest and you babymoon and get to know each other. Welcome to little Reuben!
